Disabled man victimized for being independent and ambitious

Fredrick Brennan
Fredrick Brennan was recently featured in the New York Times after being the victim of a mugging in NYC.  This certainly isn't a rare occasion in the big apple but Brennan's story is different from the norm.  Aside of the fact that he is a small statured wheelchair user, his reason for traveling with a significant wad of cash will open your eyes to a shocking reality facing many people with disabilities.

Check out Brennan's latest programming venture here.

On this episode of Hash It Out With Jane my special guest is comedic actress with a disability, Teal Sherer. We discuss the growing success of her web TV show, My Gimpy Life which, is available on YouTube.

The show is loosely based on real life awkward moments in the life of a woman who uses a wheelchair! Teal is always a pleasure to interview because she turns daily frustrating experiences into hilarious educational experiences.
